The 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship was again set to be one of Europe's most exciting saloon-car series, with ten race weekends across the United Kingdom and extensive live ITV4 coverage.

Árón Smith entered his fourth BTCC season as an established race winner and regular podium contender. After taking his debut win at Brands Hatch in 2012, he continued with Team BMR for 2015 in the Volkswagen CC alongside Colin Turkington and Jason Plato.

Following multiple victories in 2014, Smith began the campaign determined to challenge at the front of a record-capacity grid.
